Carbon Farming Conferance and Expo 2023
Carbon Farmers of Australia (CFA) organised the Nature-Based Solutions Conference & Expo 2023. It was a huge sucess and more than 40% participants were landholders. This gives an indication that carbon farming is booming in Australia as well as the fast-emerging net zero emissions targets. This year conferance benefited participants and businesses throughout the Australia, specially the rural and regional farmers. Many lasting connections were made and topics such as Australian Carbon Credit Units (ACCUs), Environmental Plantings, Nature Repair Bills, Emission Reduction Schemes and Offset strategies were briefly presented and discussed. The busineses presented how the capacity building can be improved of the farmers, which tools or mechanism would be suitable for carbon credits, farm resilience, productivity and landholders feel engaged with the carbon farming initiatives of Australia.
