Agmentation 2022: Climate Adaptive Agriculture
  • Rural communities are aware and feel the effects of climate change. While agricultural production is vulnerable, so are small rural towns, with consequences for health, trade, sport, investment and education. Over the last few years, the region has seen habitat, pasture, homes and infrastructure destroyed. Many people have been left feeling vulnerable, and while some have relocated, others are looking to build skills and prepare for a different regional future. Agmentation 2022 brings together people of different background to build solutions for changing climate in Australia. I participated in the event and my team was runner up in the competition for finding a soulution on biodiversity. Event place: NOVA, SMART Region Incubator and University of New England, Admidale, NSW, Event dates: 28-29 July, 2022.
